OUR CALL TO ACTION

Our team has always believed that art and our freedom of expression has the ability to change, heal and empower the world.  In the summer of June 2020 our creative team developed their "Fight for Better Days - POWER" graphic as a response to the death of George Floyd and the continuous counts of police brutality against the black community in America. We felt as though it wasn't enough to show our solidarity through social media. We had to do more through the basic ways we knew how. Which in that moment was to take out our creative tools and have our voice heard. We turned our pain into power, our healing into art and our anger into optimism. Through the influence of our art we were able to inspire our direct community of supporters to contribute donations and study up on 8 organizations that represent, heal, and empower black and minority communities all across America.

The Something Someday Team wants to give a big thank you to our community of friends, family and strangers for their contribution to the #BlackLivesMatter movement and for representing our 'Fight for Better Days' optimism. We wanted our art to not only support and stand in solidarity with those fighting against racial injustice but we also wanted to say something about the determination of the human heart. We donated a total of $600 +. Which is no minor victory for a small company trying to do really big things. We have also decided to make this T-shirt apart of our Something Someday permanent collection to show our true commitment towards fighting racial injustice, police brutality, support through mental health and equal opportunities in education. We donate 65% every 'Fight for Better Days - Power' purchase to a pair of organizations listed below. We encourage you to take a deep dive into the work of the organizations below. We hope they inspire you as much as they inspired us. And we hope our art has inspired YOU to speak up and DO MORE.
